Tracy processes employment and payroll for readers and supports faculty in hiring of graduate and undergraduate research assistants. She processes purchases, reimbursements, entertainment, travel reimbursements, travel vouchers. She provides faculty with current information about their account activity and balances. Tracy assists graduate students in submission of NSF dissertation proposals and other, UC funded grants required to be processed through the Office of Contracts and Grants. Tracy also hires work-study students for the department.

Tyler provides computer hardware and software support and repair for Anthropology faculty, staff, and graduate students. He also assists with the purchase of computers, electronics, and software, as well as general help with UCLA-wide computing issues.

Diem counsels undergraduate Anthropology majors (around 800 students). She handles grade changes, academic revisions, processes petitions, and refers students to other University resources. She represents the department at Major Blast, Bruin Day, Transfer Bruin Day, and other campus events. She also coordinates the Anthropology commencement ceremony in June.

Kate is responsible for on-line textbook orders, requesting desk copies and scheduling of department-controlled instructional equipment, seminar and conference room space. She processes parking requests for visitors who come to campus for departmental events and serves as the department parking coordinator. She also assigns copy codes and enters deposits to the graduate printing accounts. Kate assists faculty and staff with fax, copy, and scanning needs. She also distributes daily mail and student payroll checks. She supervises the work-study students who are assigned to the front office. She processed reimbursements and manages department keys.

Ann advises graduate students on University and departmental requirements for the Ph.D. degree. She coordinates admissions and orientation, and monitors student progress to degree. Ann also manages graduate student support allocations. She is your resource for help dealing with all the logistical issues that come with being a graduate student. She works closely with the Vice Chair for Graduate Studies. Ann serves as the staff representative for the following committees: Academic Coordinating, Admissions, Teaching Assistants and Awards.
